Please make sure that you read these Terms & Conditions thoroughly and agree to them BEFORE continuing to book or buy anything from this website!

Splat & Chat Event Tickets

Book before you come: You must book and pay before attending a Splat & Chat event. I’m afraid I will not be able to accept anyone who turns up on the day who has not booked and fully paid online or over the phone.

If you cancel:

• Unfortunately I cannot offer refunds for cancellations of event tickets.
• If a request for transferring dates of tickets is made with less than 48 hours notice before start time of an event (this includes cancelling because of testing positive for Covid19, being in self-isolation) no transfer or refund will be available.
• However, with enough notice (more than 48 hours), I can definitely try to transfer your ticket(s) to another event/date.
• Requests for transferal of tickets can only be made ONCE and credit must be used within 3 months.

The Tudor Tavern, East Preston

The Tudor Tavern does have a step to get into the building and a step to get into the area we use for Splat & Chat- However the venue can provide a ramp. There is no car park for this venue, there is only on street parking available. Please note that there is no specific disabled toilet. The Arcade Lounge, Littlehampton

The Arcade Lounge has a wide access wheel chair entrance to the side of the building and no steps once inside. There is one step to get into the building from the main entrance. There is plenty of space for wheel chair access inside. Please note that there is no specific disabled toilet. There is no car park for this venue, there is only on street parking available. Thomas A Becket Pub, Worthing

Thomas A Becket is fully accessible for wheelchair users. However, if you want to call ahead to double check, please call them on: 01903  266643

If I cancel:

• If Splat & Chat has to cancel an event for any reason a full refund will be given.
• If the venue cancels: If the venue of the Splat & Chat event cancels the event for any reason, and no other date can be offered, or if a new date no longer suits you- a full refund will be given. 

Coronavirus (COVID-19):

• Should Splat & Chat have to cancel an event or party due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) -which is out of my control, a full refund will be given.

Private Splat & Chat Party/ Corporate Bookings:

• Bookings: Private Splat & Chat parties are for ADULTS ONLY!! If you wish to have a child (under 18) present, they must be accompanied by an adult at all times with a ratio; adult: child 1:1. Chloé will take no responsibility for any children present. Children (under 18) will be charged the same amount as adults- £25pp.

Payment:

• I take FULL payment for private parties -no less than 14 days prior to the event.
• I take a 10% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT based on the predicted number of people and travel/ fuel charges on the day of booking.
• The final balance will then need to be paid no less than 14 days prior to the event. This is to secure the booking and date.
• Failure to make payment 14 days before the party/ corporate party will result in losing the party date and the party will be automatically cancelled- and non-refundable deposit lost.

Cancellations:

• If YOU cancel your private party/ corporate event and give 48+ hours’ notice- unfortunately I cannot offer a refund, but I can try my best to rearrange your party to a different date.
• If LESS than 48 hours’ notice is given – for any reason (including COVID19, illness, bad weather inclusive) than unfortunately no alternative date will be given, and all money/ deposits will be lost.
• If Splat & Chat has to cancel the event for any reason- then a full refund will be given automatically.

Number of people:

• 5 minimum and 40 maximum.

Change of numbers:

• If the number of people attending the private party/ corporate event decreases after FULL payment has been made, unfortunately I cannot offer refunds for those unable to attend. Should you wish to add on any additional people to the party after the invoice has been paid, the cost will be the same price per head as the original booking. I will need 24 hours’ notice that the number of people is increasing and payment for those people made at the time of the increase.

Paintings:

• I will help you choose a painting that will suit your party theme or occasion. Once the painting has been chosen and full payment taken, it cannot be changed- unless reasonable notice (1 weeks’ notice) is given before the date of the party/ corporate booking.
• Bespoke designed paintings will be charged at an additional £30 per design and will be charged at the time of booking. I will need a minimum of one weeks notice to design a bespoke painting. 

Protection:

• Splat & Chat provides plastic tablecloths to protect table surfaces. These are not suitable for corporate events where participants are sat at individual desks and only work if participants are sat around one large table(s).
• We take NO responsibility for acrylic paint on carpets, flooring, furniture or upholstery. The host has a Splat & Chat party at their own risk. If they wish to protect their floors and furniture- that is at their discretion.
• Splat & Chat provides aprons, but takes no responsibility for attendee’s clothing, mobile phones or other personal items. 

Petrol and distance: 

• Fuel and travel time will be charged at the time of booking.
• Fuel charges will be as follows: £0.25 per mile from RH10 (Crawley Down, West Sussex) to party location
• Travel time is charged as followed:
• 0-30 minutes total round trip travel time= £5
• 30-60 minutes total round trip travel time =£10
• 60-90 minutes total round trip travel time=£15
• 90-120 minutes total round trip travel time =£20
• 120-150 minutes total round trip travel time= £25
• 150 minute + =£25 + additional £5 for every additional 30 minutes there after.
• Central London: We no longer accept bookings for central London.

Private Splat & Chat Jnr Party Bookings:

• Private Splat & Chat JNRS paint parties are for: Primary aged children 7 turning 8 years old to 10 turning 11 years old. Or Secondary aged children 11 turning 12 years old to 15 turning 16 years old.
• All children present must be no less than 7 turning 8 to 16 years of age.
• Primary aged children will be charge at £18 per person
• Secondary aged children will be charged at £22 per person
• There must be no less than one other adult present at all times. This adult(s) will remain responsible for all children attending. Chloé will take no responsibility for any children present.
• It will be the host(s) responsibility to check with the attending children’s parents, whether they have any allergies to paint. As paint is very likely to get on their hands.
• All parents of attending children must specify whether they give permission for their child’s photo to be taken by Chloe. These photos will be used on Splat & Chat’s social media pages for advertising purposes. The host(s) will need to make it clear to Chloe which children do and don’t have permission. In cases where permission is not grated Chloe can take photos of just their hands or back of their head/ use the canvas to shield their face.
• If you and your child want a bespoke painting design for their party- this will be charged at £30. Chloe will require no less than a weeks notice. Please note that it is not possible to recreate AI generated images into ‘paintable’ designs. The best place to look is on Pinterest and searching for example: acrylic painting of a dog with a bone in its mouth.

Payment:

• I take FULL payment for private parties no less than 14 days prior to the event. This is to secure the booking and date, failure to make payment 14 days before the party will result in losing the party date and the party will be automatically cancelled.

If Splat & Chat has to cancel the event for any reason- then a full refund will be given automatically.

Number of children:

• 6 minimum- 15 Maximum

Change of numbers:

• If the number of children attending the private party decreases after FULL payment has been made, unfortunately I cannot offer refunds for those unable to attend. Should you wish to add on any additional children to the party after the invoice has been paid, the cost will be the same price per head as the original booking. I will need 24 hours’ notice that the number of people is increasing and payment for those people made at the time of the increase.

Paintings:

• I will help you choose a painting that will suit your child’s party theme or occasion. Once the painting has been chosen and full payment taken, it cannot be changed- unless reasonable notice (1 weeks’ notice) is given before the date of the party booking.
• Currently I am not charging for bespoke paintings for Junior parties, but I do require 1 weeks notice if a bespoke design is needed. I reserve the right to change this at any time.
• Please note that all Splat& Chat JNR party canvases are pre-drawn in advance of the party on 9 x12 inch canvases.

The host has a Splat & Chat party at their own risk. If they wish to protect their floors and furniture- that is at their discretion. Splat & Chat provides aprons, but takes no responsibility for attendee’s clothing, mobile phones, or other personal items.

Private Clay & Chat Party/ Corporate Bookings:

• Private Clay & Chat parties are for ADULTS ONLY!

Clay Makes:

• Once the clay make and clay colour has been chosen and full payment taken, it cannot be changed- unless reasonable notice (1 weeks’ notice) is given before the date of the party/ corporate booking.
• I am not offering bespoke designed clay makes.

• Splat & Chat provides plastic tablecloths to protect table surfaces- for home parties ONLY. We take NO responsibility for clay on carpets, flooring, furniture or upholstery. The host has a Splat & Chat party at their own risk. If they wish to protect their floors and furniture- that is at their discretion. Splat & Chat provides aprons, but takes no responsibility for attendee’s clothing, mobile phones or other personal items.

Splat & Chat Gift Vouchers

My Gift Vouchers can be redeemed against the following:

• £25 voucher- can be used for any of my Splat & Chat public events ONLY within 3 months of the issue date. T&Cs for event tickets apply.
• All vouchers can only be used once and used in full.
• All vouchers are non-refundable.
• Vouchers are valid for 3 months from the date of issue and this date cannot be extended.

Paintings Artworks

• All paintings used in events /parties are creations of Splat & Chat and are for instructional purposes only.

Photos:

•  Photos and videos will be taken throughout the classes for use on Splat & Chat social media pages, website and other promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be in any of the photos just us know on the day and we will make sure to leave you out.
